With there being so many beauty products options out there for consumers, it’s always helpful to read product reviews before making the “big leap” & investing in the product. Beauty Basics is just that, a weekly look at different beauty products, completely unsponsored, with 100% honest opinions on the product.
This week, we are featuring the Color Drama Lip Shine from Victoria’s Secret.
Discovering the Beauty Rush Color Drama Lip Shine products was a complete accident. I was shopping at the VS Semi-Annual Sale and stumbled across the light pink lip gloss (picture above, center) in the 50% off sale bins. For only $4.50 after the discount, I thought I might as well try it out. After one use, I was hooked. Hooked meaning that I even came back the next day and purchased the “Love it Raspberry” & “Mad About You-Bright Pink” colors.
Overall, the CD Lip Shine gives your lips a great color, shine, & sparkle that has made this product an essential addition to my purse each day. It’s long lasting & can be worn alone or layered with the other colors or on top of lipstick to add shine & sparkle. My only (minor) complaint is that the Lip Shine is a little sticky, but what lip gloss isn’t?
